The FUSO Canter 6.0 t is an absolute specialist for high payload requirements with the smallest external dimensions and a true exception in its segment. Even the most demanding transport tasks are met with ease by the robust and manoeuvrable light truck.

While the Canter 6.0 t with a cab width of only 1.7 m – and a frame width of 700 mm – is already extra slim from the factory, it offers full variability for different bodies and versatile applications with three different wheelbases – 2,500 mm, 2,800 and 3,400 mm.

Because of its weight-oriented design, the Canter 6.0 t can score with a chassis load capacity of up to 3.8 tonnes. With its stable C-profile ladder frame made of 5 mm thick steel and impressive axle loads – up to 2,300 kg at the front, up to 4,350 kg at the rear – it offers the ideal basis for payload-intensive applications. Added to this is a towing capacity of up to 3,000 kg, which allows a permissible gross train weight (GVW) of up to 9 tonnes.

Not only does the Canter 6.0 t possess ESP and ABS, it also comes with AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System) and LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) as standard. The optionally available Turning Assistant provides additional safety, especially in urban areas.

The Canter 6.0 t is preconfigured by FUSO ex works with the narrow cab variant.

  • The standard single cab combines a low tare weight with particularly compact dimensions, without compromising on interior space. At a width of only 1.7 m, it offers three fully-fledged seats.

ENGINE.
POWERFUL AND EFFICIENT.

The Canter 6.0 t features the ideally dimensioned, powerful and high-torque 3-litre engine with 110 kW (150 hp) output.

  • Its turbocharger with variable turbine geometry ensures optimum response and consistently high torque even at low engine speeds.
  • It features the latest common-rail technology and a start-stop function as standard.
  • A closed, automatically regenerating diesel particulate filter in combination with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) cleans the exhaust gases.
  • The engine complies with the EURO VI standard (stage E).

TRANSMISSION.
MANUAL AND FUNCTIONAL.

In the Canter 6.0 t, FUSO installs a 5-speed manual transmission.

  • This is a FUSO proprietary development that has proven itself in worldwide use and in all requirement profiles.

The Canter 6.0 t is equipped with various modern assistance and safety systems.

  • ESP, ABS, AEBS (Emergency Braking System), LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) and driver airbag are standard.
  • The Sideguard Assist (turn-off assistant) is available as an option.
  • In addition to the standard LED daytime running lights, there are optional front headlights in LED design.
  • Alongside the optional front passenger airbag, the standard seatbelt reminder enhances occupant safety.
  • A reinforced rear underride guard offers even better protection in the case of rear-end collisions.
